Huichol art.- The making of the Huichol yarn painting are true paintings of multicolored yarn, the yarn is glued with Campeche wax (beeswax), where the Huichols express the visions they have during their rituals, their stories and religion.
The Huichol artisans make pieces of very high quality and great color, which are complexly made, such as the yarn boards that amaze the imagination and are part of the magical world of the Wixarika culture. The hands of the artisans transform the material, making a painting with thread and with beautiful and bright motifs. The Huichol culture is guided by pre-Columbian shamanic traditions linked to ceremonies carried out in its historical past.
