Olinalá Guerrero box, carved and painted by hand that gives off a delicious aroma of lináloe wood. The Lináloe tree is native to the Guerrero region and it is from it that the sap is extracted to manufacture the essence and impregnate the boxes with its aroma.

The so-called lacquer or maque of pre-Hispanic origin is an important decorative technique in the popular art of Mexico. The technique consists of decorating objects with a mixture made of minerals, vegetables and animals, especially oils and earth of different colors. Using the stippling technique that highlights a variety of ornamental motifs: fretwork, flowers, animals and landscapes, as well as various colors and combinations that give it its own stamp. Piece made by Mexican hands that take care of the smallest detail using traditional Mexican techniques.
