Elephant.- Alebrije made of wood and painted by artisans from Oaxaca. In the Zapotec culture, the alebrije is a wild, mystical and protective animal, linked to every individual from birth; receives the name of nahual. The Alebrijes are carved in copal wood and painted by hand.
